Who Do I Refer Folks To For SEO?

I get numerous calls and emails from really nice folks wanting help with SEO but who don't have the budget to afford Netconcepts. I wish we could help all of them, but we are so full-on with client engagements we just can't. So I do what I think will help them the most:

  1. I direct them to my library of screencasts, podcasts, articles etc. in the Netconcepts Learning Center. There's a ton of self-help information there - literally dozens of hours of webinar recordings and podcast interviews and hundreds of articles.
  2. I refer them on to individual SEO consultants I respect and trust. Who do I refer them to, you ask? One or a combination of the following: David Patterson (Elbrus Consulting), Steve Krull (The Krull Group), Matt Joswick (Momentum), Dave Winget (WingnutSEO). Dave Winget quite recently started his own design and search marketing company, 10kthings.com.

If you're a SEO consultant who likes working with smaller accounts (e.g. $1k to $5k per month) and we know each other personally and you're not in the aforementioned list, please ping me so I can add you to the list. :) If you're looking for leads the $10k/month and up ballpark, then I'm sorry but I'm keeping those for Netconcepts! :)

  1. Us too.

We get many requests for referrals for smaller SEO engagements and often aren't sure where to send them. ((Our focus is PPC and webtesting, both on medium-to-large scale, ie IR100, with a focus on online retail.)

    If you're

    (1) credible,
    (2) reputable,
    (3) high-integrity, AND
    (4) come endorsed by Stephan or other folks we already know and trust,

do drop us an email (info@rimmkaufman.com) so we see if there's a fit for sending SEO work your way.

(Though I'd suspect the folks matching 1,2,3, and 4 above already have more work than they can handle!)

    Cheers --

    Alan
