Having trouble finding your true purpose in life?
Here’s a little exercise you may want to try out:
First of all ask yourself: “What is (insert your name here) good at?”
Come up with 40 answers to that question.
Then pick 8-12 answers that overlap.
Then choose 3 of those that you are most passionate about.
Then ask yourself “What of these three is the lowest hanging fruit?”
Let me know via Comments how the exercise works out for you!
This is a great excersize Stephan! When generating my purpose I take a slightly different approach.
I’ll seclude myself with my thoughts and a White Board.
Then I’ll just let the brain flow and write down bullet points of what’s important to me in life.
Next I’ll group ideas or concepts into key themes.
These then become the basis for my purpose in life.
From there I’ll set some goals and generate some action items to work on over the course of the next year.
I find this is a great excercize and when I look back over the years it can really demonstrate fruitful progress!
Fining your passion is really finding out your purpose you might say. This nice thing is that you can be passionate about a number of things. The passion for anything brings with it its own motivation to take action. I believe it is when we are not passionate about something that procrastination bites.
I am having difficulty in finding my passion or figuring out what interest me, and I have been doing this for approx 3 yrs, can you help me, I have aswell spoke with MANY professionals about this??????????
Seeking help!!!
